Named after the transfomative Butterfly,
Le Papillon is a creation from Heather Crawford Carlson's desire to expose her own children to a foreign language experience. Heather holds a Master's in Education and is a licensed French and ESL teacher for k-12. Her background in Cultural Anthropology, living and teaching abroad in France and various spots in the U.S. is woven into her teaching of French Language & Culture. Heather has taught pre-school children up to adults in various settings, including in the roles of pre-school teacher, environmental educator and programmer for International Students on University campuses. She embraces promoting cross-cultural interaction with a laid back approach and hopes to de-mystify foreign language learning by making it fun, approachable and applicable to our everyday experience.
